  2. These are great, and I always sing loud and proud to those 15 seconds of the song that I know. I own it like it's my job baby!

  3. The mumbling meme is Laurie all over. She's always telling me how her brother did that (kinda hinting about when I do it), so I showed her here we're not alone!

  4. Good morning, dear Holli! As you know by now music is a very important part of my life, too, and I pride myself on having eclectic taste. As you also know by now I am old. :) How old? I remember watching the Disney series Even Stevens with my 10 year old niece, my first exposure to Shia LaBeouf. My niece is now a grown woman with a child of her own.

I needed to Google the video produced for this Sia song,"Elastic Heart," used in the soundtrack of The Hunger Games, to understand what I was seeing. The interpretive dance performed by Shia LaBeouf and an underage girl, Maddie Ziegler, age 10 or 11 at the time, came under fire and was labeled child pornography by some. I choose to view it as art and found the song and video inspiring.

    Happy Thursday, dear friend Holli!

    1. Sia is so cool! She always hides her face and the little gal Maddie is an amazing dancer! Maddie appears with her on many of her performances. You should look up Sia's appearance on Ellen last year. So good! The comedian Kristen Wiig showed up on the Grammy's and danced with Maddie to a song of Sia and she did great job too.

  5. Amen, music is the life blood, for sure. There are so many songs that remind me of times and events; they are forever tied together. When I hear the song again, I am immediately transported back in time. It's magic.

Ole' Shia LaBeouf has been propelled into the legion of weirdness lately, but I still like him. We loved the movie "Holes" - it's a classic. Happy Shia is so much better than nutsy Shia. I'm sure there's a backstory here that we'll never know.

Hubzam is off and I'm out the door in a bit, but I wanted to stop by and give ya a shout out. Take care!
