There's a light

Good news, I have an appointment next week with a counselor. I have never in my life seeked professional counseling before. I'm actually looking forward to it though. It will be nice to have someone to talk to that is removed from friends and family. They don't have license to prescribe medication but as mentioned before, I'm OK with that. Maybe I just need to cry my eyes out and spill all things on my heart and in head and that will be enough. We shall see.
Here are some motivation quotes I grabbed from Pinterest. I really liked them all and it does help to read them.

Loved that one!!

Have a great day y'all!

  2. Professional counseling is an excellent choice. Our family has used that tool on more than one occasion with very positive results. Counselors can offer a new perspective as well as specific methods for working thru details. I bet you find the experience very helpful! 4. Love the glow stick quote. And sometimes we all need someone outside of our normal circle to talk to about what is going on in life.

    1. That's what I'm hoping for. Something broke inside and I struggle with anxiety now. I need that fixed.

  6. I am sure you will do well and counseling will help. Sometimes a different point of view from an outside professional can help. Good luck.

    1. It helps to know that many of my inner circle and close friends have gone to counseling and or taking happy pills. I can't be the only one to be losing their mind right?

  7. I think the first one is my particular favourite. Thanks for sharing.
Hope things are on the mend for you. I know how hard it can be when things are taxing the brain and emotions are low. Continue to draw on your friends and family for support. They are always there for you. Your blogging buddies too. :)

    1. This is the sweetest comment! It means a lot to have my blogging friends support. I had anxiety over being honest on my blog and feared I would lose followers because of my craziness.

  8. And don't be too hard on yourself if motivational quotations don't help you. Sometimes you need to go ahead and feel sad.

    1. I do. I feel sad every day. I cried today at lunch which was convenient so I could redo my makeup before I went back to work. I need to find a better waterproof eyeliner.

    2. I think it's good to cry when you feel like it. I used to cry a lot. Now I seldom cry. You know, you don't have to wear eyeliner everyday. Do what feels good. If you want to take a long bubble bath, then take one. If going out for lunch helps you feel better, then go out for lunch. Sometimes we deny ourselves small pleasures that help us relax. Willy Dunne Wooters encourages me to go to the neighborhood diner for lunch so I'm not alone all day. Everyone there is so nice to me.

  11. I'm reading your blog!!!! This is what I would do Sunday mornings, get up early, make coffee, and catch up on blog reading. It feels good to be doing so. I feel horrible that I've been so out of the loop and not known you are going through some tough stuff. I will say, there is absolutely NO shame in seeking professional help in sorting through the mess that is your brain (I don't mean YOUR brain, I mean 'your' in general... lol). Best thing I ever did. It's so wonderful to have someone you can unload on, they aren't biased, give advice, and most importantly, call you on your shit. I have to keep reading your past posts to see what's going on, but good luck my lovely Texas sweet!

  12. Exactly, a third party person who isn't involved is a great sounding board! I've been to see a few people over the years. If he feels that medication would help you will refer you or someone in the office can sometimes write one for you. Our daughter finally broke down and went again. Of course her issues are way different than hers. She needs medication to function and she stopped taking them close to 2 years ago. She is back on track as of last week and they are trying something new. We are hopeful she will get relief. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
