HOLLIWEEN Part 1

7th annual Holliween party was this past Saturday.  Thank goodness it FINALLY stopped raining and was able to have great weather for the party.  I have tons of pictures but I need to break it out into different parts because i'm super busy at the moment.
So here are some pics of just a few decorations I had:
I brought my arbor to the front and added giant spiders and webbing with purple solar lights

Added Skeleton to a pool floaty

I have 2 Christmas trees - one orange and one black- look up and you catch small glimpse of vintage costume masks

A blurry front yard pic with inflatable and yard art

I bought kids cart and painted it black- added doll heads and pumpkins and skeleton pushing the cart. I have a witch making scary noises in the cart

And not to keep you in suspense- we were Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein

Oh and I do want to point out that I only blogged 15 posts last year and I just passed it now by 2 posts so i'm doing better than last year.  Yay!

  1. Hi, Holli!

I'm happy to know you had great weather for your 7th annual Holliween party, dear friend. Your decorations look great! I don't know if I'd be brave enough to walk under that arbor covered with giant spiders, and I would also think twice before getting into the swimming pool with that skeleton. The creepiest effect of all is the gumball machine filled with doll heads, a very imaginative and delightfully disturbing decoration! The skeleton pushing a cart filled with pumpkins and doll heads is also a spooky touch. I can see the handwriting on the wall :) and like your use of the lyrics from The Addams Family theme song. You and Todd looked very convincing as Mr. & Mrs. Frank N. Stein. :)

Thanks for the fun post, dear friend Holli, and enjoy the rest of your week!

  2. Love your marquee! I know someone who'd have LOVED to see your floating friend... And I'd have likely been the idiot to jump and wreck your arbor...

    1. Thank you!! I'll post later with all my guests and their great costumes. It was a lot of fun. I got a lot of reaction to the gumball machine. A few of the Barbie heads I painted like zombies. LOL. Not sure if people noticed the small detail. It was so funny that another couple came same as us but they had different costumes. Thanks so much for stopping by.
