Hi, Holli!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were finally able to get your New York pics posted. They're terrific! It has been more than 33 years since I've visited The Big Apple and both times I went it was summer, not winter, not Christmas, so almost all of these scenes are new to me. The buildings are magnificent and I enjoyed seeing the graffiti and giant murals. The large Christmas tree is beautiful and I can imagine the festive music playing as people ice skated around it. You guys make a neat couple and it makes me happy to see your smiles and excited expressions. I'm thankful that you had this opportunity to get up there and that you made some happy memories. I can't wait to see the pix from day 2.
Thank you, dear friend Holli. Enjoy the rest of your week and happy new year to you and Todd!
Todd is all about making his funny google eye pose! One day we will get a decent pic of both us. LOL! I had been to NY a few times on Thanksgiving but all the stores arent fully decorated at that time. It was definitely an amazing time to be there with all the added lights.
DeleteThank you for stopping by and enjoying the pictures. xoxo
It must have been absolutely magical to be in NYC at Christmastime.
DeleteI disagree with you, dearie. I think all the pictures of you and Todd are terrific. You are a very photogenic couple! :)
All I can say is, if I have to live with stupid people in Ft Wayne, why can't they be wool protesters?
ReplyDeleteLOL! That is an awesome comment. The wool coat was great for warmth but not so good at staying dry in pouring rain.
DeleteYour photos are fabulous! New York is so amazing, I was overwhelmed with how big it is. I'm use to Chicago and LA but have never seen a city go on forever and ever!!!
ReplyDeleteIt really does go on forever and ever. Todd couldnt believe how stretched out it was from Times square down to Ellis island. Thank goodness for subways!!
DeleteLooks like you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI would do it again in a heartbeat!! I love New York!! Todd isnt a huge fan of all the crowds but liked the energy and the people.
DeleteLooks like you two squeezed a lot in!
ReplyDeleteWe gave it a best shot! The one thing we couldnt get in was a walk through Central Park. We got to the edge of it but then it was dinner time and getting pretty dark. Definitely next time!
DeleteIt looks like you had a graet time. I love NYC, but have only been there during warmer weather. OH would love to see it cold and Christmassy though, so perhaps one day I'll follow in your footsteps. Have a great 2017. Xx.
